Yung Gunnaz Racing would like to wish everyone a Very Happy and Safe Holiday this Season.
We are getting ourselves ready for Next Race Season and i believe our first stop will be Gilbert, Louisianna for the Planet Sand Race April 14-19.

Few YGR Members went to Stanford, KY to compete at the Battle of the Bluegrass at Sheltons Dirt Drags this weekend. It was a fun weekend and we came home with a few 1st places and a few 2nd Places. We had a great time and met alot of nice people. Would like to thank the staff at Sheltons for the great hospitality that was given to us. Above is a picture from Nov. 1 2008 at Newtown Dragway, where Terrell Allen and Lavar Charity took 1st and 2nd in the 2 Cylinder 2 Stroke Heads Up Class.
Also would like to Congratulate David Keys Jr who broke the 90cc Class Track Record at Sheltons Dirt Drags in Kentucky. Record was a 7.60, David ran a 7.47...Congrats to Him.

Wow, cant believe season is over already, well for our local tracks that is. Its been a great season of racing. YGR has brung home alot of Trophies and Cash this season, Great Job to everyone. Awesome Job to Lavar Charity, who has the most wins for the season for YGR, great job. Our site will be updating gradually throughout the off season so keep checking back and if you havent already, sign the guestbook to let us know how the site is. To all my YGRs, dont forget about Nov. 15th, at 8pm..See Yall Then!!!

Whats Up all Sand/Dirt Drag Racers, its coming to the end of the season...just reminding everyone, Slades Park last race will be on Oct. 19th, all Heads Up racing, decent payout, and trophies in all classes, so come out and have some fun before racing ends for the year.
YGR will be busy over the winter, coming up with some ideas for next year and hopefully doing a few charity events and helping out in out local community in some way, its not all about racing when it comes to YGR. So keep a look out on the website for what YGR is doing over the off season.

Congratulations to YGR Member Brad Johnson, who traveled to Grayson Kentucky this past weekend and took 1st place in there Trophy race. Brad Finished 1st out of 100 bike field. Big Congrats to him.

YGR had a blast at Dennis Andersons Motorsports Park, Dennis and his family showed us great hospitality, we would like to thank Dennis and all his crew for a great time. The kids got autographs and pictures with Dennis and his sons. Thanks to all our guest that traveled with us down, had a great time. Here are the YGR Winners.

Sad News in the world of Racing, Cliff Gullet, rider for Team Bullet has passed away after making his return trip on the salt flats when his machine crashed at 237mph. YGR would like to send our prayers out to the family and team of Cliff....May He RIP!!!
There has been talk that his record may not be official because he did not complete his return trip. If his record does not stand, im sure his team will make sure that it gets done.

Congrats to Yung Gunnaz Racing, we have been invited to Dennis Andersons Motorsports Park in North Carolina to put on a Exhibition Show for the crowd at there local County Fair. This will take place on September 13, 2008 at 3pm. All YGR members that can attend please give Terrell a call by Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
Also, our Members Bios Section is down to be updated, will be back up shortly, along with new member photos.

YGR traveled to Crisfield, MD yesterday and did some racing. Overall we had a good time but a long ride there and home, but it was worth it. Congrats to Autumn Keys, David Keys, David Keys Jr, Melvin Call Jr, and Jamie Adkins, who all took home trophies. All Pictured Above

Sorry To Announce that Donnie Hobbs Has Passed Away and Now is racing on the Heaven Tracks. Donnie passed at 3am on this 21st Day of May. Rest In Peace

First Off, i would like to send prayers out to Godfather Racing who is currently in hospital after a bad dirtbike crash at Slades Park on Saturday, we wish him a speedy recovery.
Congratulations to the following: Tre Allen, Lavar Charity, Rick Wilkerson and Jamie Adkins, all who brung home trophies Sunday in 3 Different Classes. All placed 1st or 2nd in there classes. Also YGR did a fundraiser, raffling off a Brand New Helmet dontated by Burchams Cycles out of Colonial Heights, VA. Proceeds will be going to a Big Race at Newtown Dragway on June 28th.
